About Sex Wax:
In the early 1970's, Zog was shaping boards and running a small surf shop in Goleta, California. As fate would have, a chemist named Nate Skinner worked in a building next to Zog's shop. Zog and Nate got to talking and decided that with Nate's scientific training and Zog's surfing background, they were the perfect pair to develop a unique, high-performance surfboard wax - and Sex Wax was born!
Sex Wax was one of the first brands that CJB’s Surf Company exclusively distributed in the UK and Ireland and it continue to be one of our most iconic. Is there really a Mr Zog?
Yes, Mr. Zog - A.K.A Frederick Charles Herzog, III grew up in Orange County, California, surfing the local breaks, such as Trestles, Church and Doheny. Since 1972 Zog has dedicated himself to manufacturing and marketing Sex Wax and other surf-related products and to this day continues to surf and gets into the water whenever possible.
